Narrow win for Mick Le Sauvage
Mick Le Sauvage (Pictured in race few years ago) claimed a narrow win in the Sarnia Walking Clubs Fun Event over six laps at Delancey Park. The time difference between his laps, with stops between each effort, was only seven seconds, one better than Terry Bates, closely followed by Carol Bates another second afterwards. There can be no bragging rights in the Le Noury family as Kevin, Jayne and Stuart all finished together in fourth place with a twelve seconds time difference.
The next walk is on Sunday November 15th. It is the third race in the Bob Wright Handicap Series. The distance is 5 kilometres starting at 9.30 am. The venue is Les Amarreurs, Vale. Details from Jayne Le Noury, Tel 246865.
