10 kilometres road walk

Pleinmont to Grandes Rocques

Big Personal Bests for 1st and 4th

Race winner Stuart Le Noury and fourth placed Phil Lockwood both removed time from their previous best performances. Stuarts 52.39 clocking beat his old best by one and a half minutes as he eased to victory in the second “Yorkshire Guernsey” Sarnia Walking Club Championship race. The race was held in cool, misty conditions with no wind for their walk from Pleinmont to Grandes Rocques. Third place went to Rob Elliott, in a time just over 55 minutes, with fourth placed Phil Lockwood having the walk of the day, smashing his previous best time by over 3 minutes to finish in 56.35. Stalwarts Kevin Le Noury and Mick Le Sauvage completed the mens field, with Kevin recording his best time for two years.

The Womens race was won by Club Champion Jayne Le Noury in 70.52, almost three minutes ahead of Rose Drückes.
