Rocquaine Regatta win for Jason Le Noury
Jason Le Noury removed 45 seconds from his last years performance in the Rocquaine Regatta handicap walk to cross the line first. His clear half minute advantage over second walker home Mick Le Sauvage was good enough for him to claim the “Piette Trophy”. Last walker to start, Carl Thomson finished in third place recording the fastest time of the day, going under 30 minutes with a time of 29.24.

The next walk, an additional one not on the fixture list, is on Friday August 8th at Footes Lane, over a distance of 1500 metres. Start time is 6.45 pm.
This is followed a week later on Friday August 15th with a race over 10 kilometres. This race starts and finishes at Amarreurs Road, Vale. Start time is 6.45 pm. The walk is the final event in the Sarnia Walking Clubs “Yorkshire Guernsey” Championships. Details from Jayne Le Noury Tel:246865.
