Bob Wright Handicap Series Race 4
10 kms road walk
Pleinmont to Grandes Rocques, Guernsey

Personal Best times for first two

Karen Sheppard kept up her winning streak in the Bob Wright Handicap Series with her third win from three starts. Out on her own from the start she improved her time by four minutes to finish more than two minutes ahead of the next walker home.
Second to finish was Jason Le Noury, who had started at the back of the field. A strong race gave him a new personal best time by 1 minute 41 seconds, which had been set only months ago in August. A fast start with the first half covered in 25 minutes, saw a slight slowing in the second half, in which the walkers had to climb the hill at Albecq, to cross the line in 50.49.
Masters walker Kevin Le Noury claimed third place from Phil Lockwood who walked close to his best time and clocked the second fastest time of the day. Injury and illness had reduced the number of walkers on the line for this event.

1 Karen Sheppard W40 77.18 (watch time) 77.18 (actual time)
