Sarnia Walking Club Life Member Phil Collins recently passed away in England. He was a past RWA President and race walking judge, whose connections with Guernsey go back to the late 1960`s. He was a regular visitor to Guernsey and helped the club with his racewalk contacts. Phil generously accommodated Guernsey walkers at his home in London, helping to get them to various walks in the UK calendar. On a personal note I would have been “lost” without his help in my early days of travelling to UK. (Rob Elliott).
Off the subject of walking, I watched the local Mud n Fun Run this weekend. Photo link at http://s989.photobucket.com/home/walkguernsey/index

  1. that mud and fun run looked like lots of fun.

Great to see you are having a good turn out for your races and that the pace is up there too.

Thanks for looking in on me…whats next for me is the NZ Nationals and then NZ Masters Champs. I think after that I will do some local halfs as I will not be heading over seas till next year.
