Waldron win for Jason

 

The first three walkers across the line showed little discomfort after their efforts in the Easter Runs a week earlier. Race winner Jason Le Noury was only a few seconds down on his time set in last years “Bedell Cristin” Eric Waldron race, as he crossed the line in 15.10, leading from start to finish. Second man home Stuart Le Noury, who had Phil Lockwood for company for the first few laps, removed 21 seconds from his previous best time finishing in 15.27. A big 2 mile personal best for Phil Lockwood gave him third place in 15.42. Mick Le Sauvage came home in 22.05, beating the old Guernsey Age Best time set by Denis Dedman.

The next walk is on Sunday April 18th for the Philadelphia Cup. Start and finish is at Les Amarreurs, with a 9.30 am start. The event is a one mile team handicapped walk. Details from Jayne Le Noury, tel 246865.
