Fathers Day Half Marathon

Filed under: Half Marathon, Phil Lockwood, Stuart Le Noury, Uncategorized — sarnia @ 7:03 pm

Phil Lockwood (pictured yards from finish) walked todays annual Half Marathon run in Guernsey in  2 hours 2 minutes 43 seconds. Not quite his best time, but good in the “traditional” hot conditions that usually accompany this event. Other Sarnia WC members ran the course. Fastest of these was Stuart Le Noury, well down on his best time. Kevin Le Noury finished the event for the 30th consecutive year, completing all of them since the races inception in 1981. Kevins best days are well behind him, but shows no signs of not competing yet. He is the only competitor left to have ran in all the “Fathers Day” runs. Terry Bates and John Dedman also finished.
