Fathers Day Half Marathon

Filed under: Half Marathon, Phil Lockwood — sarnia @ 5:56 pm

Phil Lockwood was the only club member to opt to race walk the Spearpoint GIAAC Guernsey Half Marathon. He finished the course in 2.07.20 for 203rd place, in cold conditions, which is rather unusual for this traditional race which is normally walked in hot weather. This time was  half a minute quicker than his last half marathon held at Easter.

Quickest member of the day was Stuart Le Noury who ran a personal best time of 84.51 for 15th place. Terry Bates was 66th in 98.30. Next home was Kevin Le Noury in 157th place in 1.56.00. His first run in this event was way back in 1981 and he has kept up his streak of finishing them all……..the only competitor to have done so. Close behind was John Dedman in 1.56.42 for 164th place.
