Guernsey Easter Runs

DSC_0274 (2)Phil Lockwood walked the Guernsey Easter Half Marathon on Easter Monday in just over 2 hours 11 minutes. The out and back course from St Peter Port along the coast roads to L`islet and return was held in cold and windy conditions. Other members to compete were Kevin Le Noury and Stuart Le Noury. Kevin ran the 10 kms road race, the L`ancresse Cross Country and the Half Marathon, coming home in a personal worst time in the longer event!

Stuart had a good few races in preparation for the forthcoming London marathon with personal best times in both the 10kms and Half Marathon, in which he ran both. His 10kms time of 36.49 gave him 30th position. Full result

His Half Marathon time of 81.20 was good enough for 14th place. Full result

Sarnia member Terry Bates, running for Isle of Man Vets, competed in the Isle of Man over Easter over 10kms and a Hill Race. He ran the 10kms in just under 44 minutes.
