Big Personal Best for Kay Coulson
The performance of the day came from the last walker to finish when Kay Coulson crossed the line in 78.16 taking 1.38 off her previous best time. This effort gave her first place in the handicapped section of the Heritage Group Championships. Jayne Le Noury in 74.26 led the women home in the Championship, whilst Phil Lockwood had an easy win in the mens Championship winning in just under the hour. Second placed Rob Elliott had expected to finish close to Lockwood but had a poor race and felt “out of sorts” from the start finishing well behind. Kevin Le Noury finished in 3rd place.
