Sarnia Walking Club road walks

15 kms and 3 kms

Les Amarreurs, Vale, Guernsey

Le Nourys head both races

Stuart Le Noury was the easy winner of the 15 kilometres event held over ten laps at Les Amarreurs. Out on his own from the start he crossed the line in 1.22.09. Second home was Phil Lockwood in 1.32.36 ahead of Rob Elliott in 1.34.08. Elliott was the only walker to finish with a faster second half, keeping the gap that Phil Lockwood had made over him in the first half fairly static in the second.

Kevin Le Noury took the honours in the shorter event with a 20 minute clocking, ahead of Mick Le Sauvage. Quickest of the women was Marie Macdonald in 21.06, with Jayne Le Noury in second and Jayne Golborne third. The next event is on Sunday October 26th at 9.30 am at Delancey Park. The distance is 10 kilometres and is the second race in the Bob Wright Handicap series. Details from Jayne Le Noury at lenouryjedburgh@cwgsy.net.
