Personal Best for Womens Winner

Marie Macdonald removed 41 seconds from her previous best time as she won the womens section of the Heritage Group Championships from Jayne Le Noury and Kay Coulson. Her new best time of 34.10 was achieved in a close race with male competitors Mick Le Sauvage and Peter Beckerleg, who were all closely together throughout the second half of the race.

Easy winner of the race was Jason Le Noury in 25.50 who lost ground over the final 2,000 metres after an opening time for 3,000 metres of 15.16. Phil Lockwood walked an even paced effort to cross the line in 29.41 for second, with Kevin Le Noury taking third place.

The next race is on Sunday June 28th at 8.30 am over 20 kilometres, starting at the old Quayside premises on North Side. Details from Jayne Le Noury,
