Scratch man Dave Dorey led from start to finish to win the Richmond Trophy in a race held over 3 kilometres. He had a 21 seconds advantage over second placed Mick Le Sauvage, with a fast finishing Donna Allan back in third. A close middle of the field race was won by Kevin Le Noury from Peter Beckerleg and Phil Lockwood. Fastest time of the day was recorded by 7th placed Stuart Le Noury with 15.16. Back in 8th place and well outside his normal time was Rob Elliott. Thanks to Richmond Fiduciary Group and Owen Le Vallee for race sponsorship.
